This semi-antique, hand-knotted, woolen Persian carpet has been manually made by artisans in Kashan. The intricate, but classic, design and colours makes this rug’s presence be known at all times and in any room.
The owner purchased it from a dealer in antique and semi-antique Persian carpets, in the Middle-East in 1997, for his European home but never used it. It was safely kept in storage.
Size: 145x217 cm.
Origin: Persia (Iran); appears to be from Kashan.
Knots: About 330,000 per m2.
Principal colours: Red and various shades of blue.
